BLACK ANODIZED ALUMINUM T-SLOTTED EXTRUSIONS
To make aluminum extrusions black, there are a few options to choose from. There is anodizing, powder coating, or painting. At Parco, our t-slot extrusions are anodized. We use this process because there are advantages of anodized coatings versus other options. When aluminum is anodized through an electrochemical process, the color actually becomes part of the aluminum and not a coating such as paint that can peel off. This produces a nice even color and makes it ideal for higher traffic areas where your t-slot project could become abraded. Aluminum extrusion anodizing is also unaffected by sunlight. This makes it a better exterior option where normal coatings will eventually fade or fail in the UV rays. We stock a wide variety of Black Anodized T-slot extrusions as well as brackets and fasteners. This is an example of what we carry in the black anodized t-slots, but we have much more available.
