183″ x 172″ x 96″ Industrial Saw Guard with Safety Interlock
This large industrial saw guard is designed to create a defined protective enclosure around saw equipment while maintaining visibility, access, and flexibility for the surrounding work area. Measuring approximately 183″ x 172″ x 96″, the enclosure combines a durable T-slot aluminum frame with dark polycarbonate panels, wire mesh machine guarding, and an interlocked access door.
One side of the saw enclosure features dark polycarbonate panel walls, providing a substantial barrier while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. An integrated access door is equipped with a safety interlock switch, allowing the door to be incorporated into the machine’s safety system so equipment operation can be controlled when the guarded area is accessed.
The remaining sides use open wire mesh guarding to provide separation from the saw and surrounding equipment while maintaining airflow and visibility into the work area. The shorter side sections are approximately 30″ high and also feature wire mesh guarding, creating protection where a full-height enclosure is not required by the application.
Because the saw guard is constructed with modular T-slot aluminum extrusion, the framing can do more than support the guarding panels. The upper structure provides convenient mounting locations for lighting and other accessories, allowing additional equipment to be incorporated directly into the enclosure instead of requiring separate floor-mounted supports.
